The Yute Twin is a no-compromise true twin for kids. Build with the same construction and materials as all our other boards, the Yute Twin is fast, durable, and high performing. Want to see your kid throw down in the park, euro carve, and win BX races all on one board? The Yute Twin is for you.
Minimal, normal camber with a touch of early-rise.
We wanted to see the kids rip, not be held back by flimsy kid’s boards. Throwing down in the park, euro carving, winning BX races — it can all be done on this shape.
Built well, looks great! Can't wait to ride it. Think snow.
I've worked with the guys at Winterstick to refine my custom Wescott Pro over the last 3 seasons. Without doubt the shape suits my riding style down to the ground. Adding the titanal lattice insert provides extra grip and vibration damping, without giving away playfulness or pop. The board rails all kinds of arcs on groomers, floats beautifully in low angle pow, is tenacious in critical narrow and steep chutes, and is way faster than everyone else on the cat tracks. It's as close to an all mountain freeride quiver killer as I have ever ridden. And it's a proven winner for banked slalom where the nose shape and tail profile mean easy turn initiation on the banks, and no tail catching on the exits. Pretty darned close to the perfect board I reckon.
If you want a board that prefers going fast this one is for you..This board was designed for charging big lines, having the stability to be solid at full pin yet be playful enough to manage technical terrain. I have ridden it in all conditions and find it also really shines on wide open groomers when you want to lay super g carves...floats like a dream on those deep days and even has the ability to rail banked slaloms. It's a hard charging do everything board.
Rode this model for a few runs in Montana. It was AWESOME . The 183 was easy to handle and I was able to carve it without any issue. I am 5'7 and about 140lbs. It handled beautifully.
