Wescott’s deep day board

Day dreaming of how to modify his pro-model shape to perform better in the deep snow of the coastal mountains of British Columbia, Seth created this board evolution. A decade of refining his personal shape led him to the Day Dreamer, with the reliability of his legendary banked slalom winning Seth Wescott Pro, now powderized.

The width, blended with the new nose profile and length, both optimize float in the deepest snow, and facilitate ease of touring when in split mode. This isn’t a powder-only board though. The Day Dreamer does it all — railing high speed turns when the snow gets hard or dropping into the deepest lines.

The Day Dreamer features the playfulness of a Swallowtail while still having enough tail to ride switch. The only thing that will hold you back is your imagination. Have fun, start dreaming!

Custom Day Dreamer 172 does it all!!! Highly recommend!!!!

Rob made a couple of tweaks to the standard version, going with a 172 and a 25 waist. Using size 11.5 boots with 45 degree stance angles front and back, no issues with toe or heel drag when up on edge. Rails on groomers, feeling stable at 50+ mph (if you believe ski tracks app). Can definitely feel the nose rise and the swallow tail engage when in pow. Took it into some tight, steep, relatively icy east cost bumps and it was very maneuverable (thankfully!), probably because it’s so lightweight. I’m 6’, 225lbs and almost immediately broke the swallowtail on a 188 Sims Burner years ago, so I was concerned about that happening to this, but the board can take a beating when riding aggressively. Idk how they make it so lightweight, strong and stable at speed without titanal. That 30 degree triaxial weave must be something special. I’ve ridden custom race and all mountain boards for 25 years and this is my favorite by far. Spring for the fastest base material. It’s worth it.

    Sick!!!

I’m a Patroler in Utah and I absolutely love this board. It’s a blast in the Powder and it’s my go to for the deep stuff.

    Day…Dreaming

Love the wescot pro so much I decided to get the altered pow version ,…the Daydreamer. Rails groomers, obviously great in powder. I’ll take this in brackett basin and burnt mnt when snow is good. I have the 159, and it’s perfect for that terrain. Tight trees, rock drops, float,… it does it all.

    * side note on the swallowtail*…. It’s a 5 star. Not sure why i have 4. But if I could give it a 10 I would, as well as the daydreamer. 10 out of 10.

    Daydreamer is a dream

I’ve had my Daydreamer for a year now. This board has absolutely ripped from hardback east coast groomers to steep pow runs in Colorado. This is the perfect all around ripper! 🤙🏼
